This bag is fine for temperatures down to around 50 or 55 degrees farenheight, but is gets really cold below that. The O degree rating is totally bogus and is very dangerous to advertise. If you tried to sleep with this in zero degree weather, it is likely you would DIE! I get so cold in this bag at 45 or 50 degrees, and I am not particularly sensitive to cold, I am a strong healthy person with plenty extra bodyfat. I have used many 0 degree bags from REI and North Face and Marmot, and this Extreme Pak bag is nowhere near as warm as those 0 degree bags. I dont know how they can put these fake temperature ratings on these sleeping bags, there should be a law, because it is very dangerous to tell people this bag is suitable for even 40 degrees, much less Zero! 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful  Great for Biking and packing, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: High Peak Extreme Pak 0 Degrees Sleeping Bag (Misc.) I have never had a bag pack into such a small space, yet provide so much warmth. I used this bag with the High Peak 4 season tent in below freezing conditions and at high altitudes. It worked great. The compression straps allow it to wrench down to a ball about the size of a Quaker Oats can. I had all of my gear (tent, bag, mess kit and dry goods) in one Jessie bag.Pro's - Works as sold. Great bag Con's - I don't have any.
